And in order to celebrate it, Shelby has announced the limited edition for 50th Anniversary model that was introduced at Barret-Jackson earlier yesterday. It uses CSX8000 chasis numbers. Each of the continuation cars will be painted in ‘Shelby Black’ color and will feature a premium leather interior, special badging, and wire wheels.
The pricing for the 50th Anniversary Cobra rolling chasis, without the drivetrain, is set to be $ 69,995 or $ 134,995 for the aluminum bodied car. You think it is expensive? Yes of course, but with only 50 units slated for the production, I think it will getting snapped up pretty quickly.

Aston Martin Cygnet Launches Two New Colors

The company has now officially released the pricing details on their first sub-compact car. The next vehicle is the Aston Martin Cygnet Launch Edition Black. This evil twin is dipped in Magic Black color that hides a little bit shades of green. Matte black louvers and chrome accents are dominating the rest of the exterior, while the cabin is colored with diamond pattern black leather.

Porsche Entering Art Car Scene
Porsche Italy has jumped into the art car market with both of their feet stepping surely by inviting young designers from all over the world to come up with a viny wrap for the Cayman. The entries have already been pared down to only 30 semi finalists the regiestered users at DesignBoom.com may submit up to 10 votes to their favorite.
The wraps are varied from the playful up to the outright trippy, and actually, it will be a hard time for you to pick one look over the others. After the voting ends on January 31st, the top four designs will enter into the final round of voting. Porsche will also go through the pains while creating Cayman images faithful to what the artists’ intent. From there, the final round of voting will finally choose the ultimate winner of the contest.
One lucky designer will then receuve a full paid scholarship for a master’s degree at the Scoula Politecnica di Design in the country of fashion, Milan. VW Preparing SUV For 7 Passenger
Volkswagen seems to have shown up the details of the rumored addition to their SUV family. According to Auto Express, this new comer will have it sights set dead on the American market, and will boast the seating for approximately seven passenger. It is also rumored that the vehicle will carry a slimmer price tag than the current Touareg. These news are coming from VW America guru, Jonathan Browning.
Moreover, Auto Express is also reporting that this new crossover or SUV vehicle will most likely be built in the United States. It is at the company’s Chattanoga, Tennessee manufacturing facility alongside with the new Passat.
The German native automaker has made no secret of the fact that they want nothing more than just to carve out a larger piece of the American auto market cake. And by doing this, it will require a portfolio of vehicles that caters more specifically to the Yankee tastes. By the year of 2018, VW plans to sell 800,000 units of vehicle in the United States. Last year, the company only managed to sell 256,830 units of their products.
