Ford maybe has put their hands up for the Ranger in the United States, but it is not the case for General Motors. General Motors already has a big plang for the mid size pickup market. PickupTrucks.com has reported that General Motors is currently working har to realize their next generation of two car, Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon.



The Colorado and Canyon models today is scheduled to end their produciton at mid 2012, and GM is reportedly will base the next generation pickup from the GMI 700 body on frame global small truck platform. This basic of the car are set to be announced at Thailand International Motor Show in Bangkok this year.



Another report from PickuTrucks.com said that GM was originally planned to end the production of Colorado and Canyon after this generation, but the plans is likely to be changed. However, it seems that it will still be at least two and a half years before General Motors managed to shows up their newest generation of mid-size pickup. It means that there will be an empty zone between the moment where the old model ends and when the new version is ready for the market.

With their new car, Lincoln is trying to offer a comfortability for the passengers. In order to do this, Lincoln has pushed the rear seats of this MKT to add another 1.5 inches space for your log. This rearseat can also be reclined, and the right rear side can access an even more legroom with controlling the front seat.



The cargo room is also improved if you compare it with the outgoing Town Car. It is offering a space of 39.6 cubic feet, and it means that you will be able to bring some more luggage, golf clubs, or other small things that might be usefull. Beside the MKT Town Car, Lincoln also has an MKT for serious limo duty with the chassis which can be stretched up to another 10 feet.

Pagani finally bringing their new supercar inside the Huayra to the United States later this year. This will be the first time for the Italian automaker to officially sold their vehicles in this country. The first vehicle of Pagani, the Zonda, was previously never retailed in the U.S. even the production is running for a decade. But some handful examples were exist in some private collections.



Horacio Pagani was speaking about this announcement and saying “We are thrilled with the opportunity to bring the Pagani brand here in the United States, and we are looking forward for a successful launch of the Huayra.” The Huayra was originally a name of an ancient god of wind, and is a stylistic departur from Zonda, added by some more curvacous shape and gullwing doors. However, this car’s performance will be even more impressive as the V12 twin turbo engine is able to bring 700 horsepower to a car which only weighing 3,000 pounds.

The assault of Italian to the Mini territory involves more brands and labels than what you see in a department store. In the other side, there is an ever popular Fiat 500 car. This larger Ypsilon will get an emphasis on refinement as it has a LED dashboard lighting with a special sound absorbing headliner, electronic systems, and a large sunroof for its interior. You will get those features in this flagship luxury sedans.



Lancia will also expanding the possibility of customization with this all new Ypsilon which is offering 17 exterior shades, six different upholstery options, three interior trim levels, and three styles of alloys. Beside those customization possibilities, there are four engine options that you can choose: 1.2 liter with 69 horsepower, 1.3 liter MultiJet turbodiesel, 1.2 liter flex fuel LPG, or the 900CC TwinAir with 85 horsepower.
